Question by : large hornet bees flying around outside at night what sort is it?
they are no where to be seen during the day, could there be a nest near by , and are they dangerous

Hornets are hornets and bees are bees, and never the twain shall meet.
My guess is that you’re seeing clearwing moths (family Sphingidae). Many of them mimic wasps.
