Question by J J: Is there an easy way to get rid of WASPS?
I searched my attic and did not see a nest but they seem to be all around the back side of my house by the rafters. Is anyone else having this problem? How do I get rid of them? Also, Some of them actually found there way into my house so I had to slap them with a magazine. That has never happened before.

beer kills them. Mix honey (they like it) with beer and leave it in the attic. *Poof* they are dead.

Need to find the nest and destroy it with bug spray. Then find how they got in and seal it. The beer and honey will work, but they will keep returning.

Get an exterminator–you have to be careful because they can get into your walls! My friend had a huge, live pile of them spill out into her living room when she opened up a bulge in the wall to see what was causing it. Ugh!
get a can of (continuous spray) lysol, and a long lighter.. then go up to the nest spray the lysol and light the lighter let it burn for a few seconds , then run away… within a few minutes they are dead, and they want nothin to do with the burnt nest.. trust me.. they WILL leave! good luck
What you have are ‘Queens’ that hibernated in your attic or the winter. They didn’t construct a nest. They probably slept in the insulation. Now that the weather is warming up, they are waking up. The problem is hey wake up stupid. They can’t remember how they got in, so they end up in your house trying to get outside. If everybody leaves for the day, just set off a bug bomb in the attic.
nothing a can of raid won’t remedy.
If the nest is on the outside rafters, in the evening when they are all back in the nest, turn your hose on full blast and spray.
Ask one of your guy friends to kill them for you.
